Tarah L. Wolff is an accomplished writer and photographer. With numerous poems and short stories published in Minnesota publications. She is a graphic designer, web site designer (writing Xhtml and CSS using the free open source program HTML-Kit) and layout designer/editor (using Open Office). Her photographs you may have seen up in libraries and museums over the past two years with her aunt's (Sharon Harris') poetry in a show called "Lines and Light".
She is a horse back rider who owns four horses, three dogs and three cats. She is a Christian Republican in support of women's rights. She has an active life, filled with work because she loves to work. She and her partner Joseph Crawford (of Oklahoma) remodel and sell older homes for a living. She splits her time in Oklahoma and Minnesota. In summers she works as a golf course manager, mower and golfer at Fair Havens Golf Course.
She has designed and co-edited the last four Talking Sticks published by the Jackpine Writers' Bloc and is very proud to be a part of their growth. She also does a small amount of modeling for a fee, though she usually saves herself for her own photography, she is always interested in meeting new photographers, writers and artists and learning from their experience and expertise.
She says of herself that she is an athlete and can't stand anymore not using her body in a strong or energetic way. It's the reason why she enjoys remodeling homes, working with her horses and golfing so much, because it is all very physical, taxing work.
She believes strongly in being healthy and eliminating every kind of drug from a persons life (illegal, legal or recommended by a doctor...). She eats organically and enjoys detoxifying her body, she is excited to see how good she can feel and how good she can look living naturally.
Tarah is also a full supporter of Open Source software (FREE!) and is a member of the coalition against profit-focused companies such as Microsoft taking advantage of the ignorant in computer technologies and making a fortune on products that were from the very beginning not even worth using let alone buying!
