PROFILE

Tarah L. Wolff Name: Tarah Lynn Wolff

DOB: 02/24/86

I've been a writer longer than I've done anything else in my life. In fact I've been working on an endless book for nearly a decade. I've been a photographer for seven years and use a Pentax *ist-d body with a Tamron lense. I've been using the Pentax/Tamron combination since I started shooting pictures with film and when I made the switch to digital I carried it over and I would highly recommend Pentax and Tamron.

I started web design and fiddled with it on and off for a few years before taking it up professionally. I have never used such Microsoft programs as Frontpage to write my code for me. From the beginning I learned the code and wrote it myself. I write in Html-Kit now which I would recommend it. Though Html-Kit works pretty well for me it may or may not do with the working style of other designers.

I have many other hobbies that absolutely define me. I own three dogs, three cats and four horses, I ride my horses English and work my Arabian in Dressage. My dogs are two German Wirehairs and a German Shorthair and they are the loves of my life. I'm not a cat person though we own a gorgeous, huge, black tom cat that has big feet and a way of moving about our house like a tiger. We also have a beautiful long haired siamese with blue eyes, who the heck wouldn't like a cat the looked like a toasted marshmallow?

My family owns a golf course and I am looking to attempting a career as a professional golfer. I am hoping to start at Bemidji state University in 2010 and join their golf team. I love golf, I am pretty good at it though I honestly believe that with instruction I could become very good.

After all of that my boyfriend and I are renovating to sell a home in Durant Oklahoma. We've installed (and yes, did ALL of the plumbing) three full bathrooms, re-framed almost the entire house, replaced all of the windows and ripped out and replaced all of the electrical, hopefully we will be able to get it on the market by January 2009. We did the entirety of the work ourselves, no one helped and we found along the way that he and I could do anything together. Joseph and I have plans on moving him to my home up north once the house sells, so you may just see us in Park Rapids Minnesota by the spring of '09.

My life is busy but there is nothing in it that I do that I do not love to do, that is the construction work, the writing, the animals, the design and the golf. I hope someday I finish a novel and find a publishing company who is interested, I work on my writing in my spare time. Joseph and I are very seriously considering opening a computer store in Park Rapids, updates will be up here throughout the next year. Thanks for stopping by.
